Mahra Al Raisi, an Omani artist and graphic designer, transitioned from a human resources major to earn her Bachelor's degree in graphic design from the University of Nebraska. Her creative journey began with designing invitation cards and posters for family and friends using phone apps, eventually turning professional.

During her studies in the United States, she primarily focused on Islamic art to educate people about its intricate patterns and meanings. Besides graphic design, Al Raisi also had a passion for three-dimensional painting, particularly with wood as her preferred medium.
